Red Faction Guerrilla Sequel In DevelopmentPosted by Panda Jenkins on 5 Feb 2010, 9:03pm.   1 Comment(s) ·  Read Entry »

Red Faction Guerrilla was fun, you got to blow crap up and experiment in many ways. Guerrilla changed a lot from the first two games but it seems that the change gained quite a lot of success and the game's publisher has revealed that a sequel is in development for Guerrilla. In other words, it seems that they plan to keep their explosive direction for another game.

The publisher has stated that we will get to see the next game during E3 this year so for those who are interested be on the lookout for when E3 hits. The publisher has also revealed that the game is due for their 2011 fiscal year which ends on March 2011. The wait may not be as long as it seems.

First Trailer Of Fallout: New VegasPosted by Panda Jenkins on 5 Feb 2010, 8:48pm.   0 Comment(s) ·  Read Entry »

Fallout: New Vegas is the next game in the Fallout franchise which is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment. (A company with several of the team that made the original Fallout games instead of Bethesda who made the successful 3rd installment in 2008 and are publishing New Vegas instead) The first trailer has finally been released though it is only a teaser. I am still not sure what to expect since I loved Fallout 3 (and love Bethesda's style of games) but have not played the first two games. Not to mention they were made a long time ago so this could be something entirely different or similar for all we know. For now we can only make predictions, in any case here is the teaser trailer.

Vanquish AnnouncedPosted by Hato-kun on 31 Jan 2010, 1:12am.   0 Comment(s) ·  Read Entry »

Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami seems to be hard at work on another game, named Vanquish. Quietly, a trailer was placed on the Platinum Games website (The company that Shinji helped found), and it looks promising. Kind of.

The trailer mixes CG with real-footage (quite well, I may add) and looks damn crazy at times. Unfortunately, the trailer doesn't show any sort of gameplay, so more footage will have to wait. It however shows a whole heap of spaceships, something about America being attacked, and a Russian news station broadcasting an attack. Interesting...
